Microgreens

We are a year-round indoor microgreens farm. This living food is nutrient-dense, sustainably and locally grown. At Smoky Mountain Farmhouse we grow broccoli, peas, radish and sunflower. Additionally, we grow wheat grass.

Microgreens are 40X More Nutrient-Dense Than Mature Greens

Health Benefits

Microgreens are nutrient-dense powerhouses filled with concentrated nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Some health benefits include:

  • Boost Your Immune System
  • Reduces Chronic Disease Risk
  • Lowers Inflammation
  • Improves Gut Health

Microgreens and grasses are simply young living food that is utilized at their most nutritious and delicious state.

Exceptionally Fresh

They are living food, making them naturally fresh. As a result, you can enjoy the benefit of exceptional quality and long shelf-life.

Easy to Use

Implement them into your current diet to increase the nutritional contend of each meal and improve overall health. For example, add them to your salad, sandwich or wrap. Garnish an already cooked meal such as stir-fry and soup. You can even enjoy them by themself as a snack! They can add so much flavor, texture & color to your dishes!

Sustainable & Locally Grown

Microgreens are grown more sustainably compared to conventional agricultural practices. They use less water, and require no fertilizer or pesticides. In addition, there is less transportation and they provides a more sustainable community by putting money back into your local economy.

At Smoky Mountain Farmhouse we strive to improve the health and sustainability of our local community.
